I’ve started this blog to educate and document my journey forward with cirrhosis and end stage liver disease. Rather that posting to a social media platform, I felt it more appropriate to give anyone with a continued interest the option of checking in here from time to time.

I will be using this format to update everyone on my condition, and to provide education, resources and hopefully motivation for others that have similar challenges. As I update my progress, I will continue to attempt to provide accurate and reliable education on liver disease and how me and my community are tacking the present and future challenges. It’s the beginning of what promises to be a very long walk.

Since this is a blog, you will have to tolerate some of my musings along the way – to understand and get to know me better and understand that healing and health come, in great part, from the emotional connections we have with our loved ones, the community and nature.
